Downtown Cruise. Clermont Main Street runs a classic and exotic car cruise and show on Montrose Street in downtown Clermont, with food trucks, vendors and live music. The most recent was Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. Car owners apply through Main Street’s Downtown Cruise application. We will add any June 2027 cruise when Main Street posts it.

Breweries and downtown
The City of Clermont points visitors to the two breweries in the historic downtown, “located just two blocks apart,” with beer made on site, live music and trivia nights. They are Clermont Brewing Company, 750 W. DeSoto St., and Suncreek Brewery, 790 W. Minneola Ave., both listed in Clermont Main Street’s downtown directory. Check each brewery’s site for Sunday hours. The Downtown Clermont Farmers Market runs Sunday mornings at 752 W. Montrose St.; in 2026 the city said its summer hours, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., took effect at the end of May.
Things to do with Dad
- Go up the Citrus Tower. The Florida Citrus Tower, 141 N. U.S. Highway 27, opened July 14, 1956, and runs elevator rides to an observation deck with views the tower puts at 35 miles. Phone: 352-394-4061.
- Fish or launch a boat. The Clermont Boat Ramp is at 140 East Ave. on Lake Minneola, next to Waterfront Park; only vehicles with trailers may park there. See parks and trails.
- Play disc golf. Champions Pointe Disc Golf Course is at Lake Hiawatha Preserve, 450 12th St., open sunrise to sunset.
- Ride the trail. The paved Clermont/Minneola Trail and the South Lake Trail meet near downtown. See walking and biking trails.
- Visit the Historic Village. Its World War II museum in a Quonset hut is open with the rest of the village, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, free.
City services
Father’s Day is not a city holiday; trash, parks and city services run as usual. The city’s fifth annual Juneteenth celebration is planned for Waterfront Park, with the 2027 date to be announced on its events page.
