Easter Sunday is March 28, 2027, the day after Lake County Schools’ spring break ends. This page lists what is confirmed, says plainly what is not out yet, and is updated as churches, restaurants and venues announce their plans.

Egg hunts

The City of Clermont does not run a citywide egg hunt; none appeared on its 2026 events calendar, and its 2026-27 list of upcoming events does not include one. Egg hunts in Clermont are run by churches, neighborhoods and nonprofits.

No Clermont restaurant had posted an Easter 2027 menu when we checked. These serve brunch or breakfast on Sundays, according to their own websites:

What is open on Easter weekend

• City offices: Good Friday is not a city holiday, so City Hall is open Friday, March 26.
• Trash: collection runs on the normal schedule. The city’s sanitation holidays page says only New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas move pickups.
• Parks: open dawn to dusk. Champions Splash Park at Waterfront Park is free; its hours vary by season, so call 352-708-5953.
• Southern Hill Farms posted “farm closed” on Easter Sunday in both 2025 and 2026. The farm’s spring u-pick runs on other days; check its calendar.

Easter week ideas

• Pick berries. In spring 2025 Southern Hill Farms, 16651 Schofield Road, ran u-pick days with a kid zone on weekends. There is no admission fee; you pay for what you pick.
• Walk the lakefront. The paved Clermont/Minneola Trail runs along Lake Minneola from West Beach. See walking and biking trails.
• Visit the Historic Village. Open 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, free. See free things to do in Clermont.

• Friday, April 16, 2027: no school for Lake County students.
• Sat. April 24, 2027: the city’s Earth Day and Lake Cleanup at Lake Hiawatha Park, with the cleanup from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and the festival from 9 to 11 a.m., according to its events page.
