Routes
There are three routes, 35, 70 and 100 miles. The Florida Freewheelers say riders of any ability and on any type of bike can take part, but the 70 and 100-mile routes are very challenging and need training rides first. Maps, cue sheets and GPS files are not posted yet; the rides page says routes will be released before the event. Saturday familiarization rides are listed, with details still to come.
Rules for every rider, from the organizer:
- Helmets are required.
- No headphones.
- Obey all traffic laws, stop at stop signs and signals, and do not block the road.
- Ride no more than two abreast.
- Carry a spare tube, patch kit, pump and identification.
- Wear the wristband; it gives access to rest stops and the post-ride meal.
