The city ceremony
The City of Clermont holds its 2026 Veterans Day ceremony at the Arts and Recreation Center on U.S. 27, south of downtown, at 11 a.m. on Veterans Day itself. The city has not posted a program, speakers or parking notes yet; this page will be updated when it does.
The city’s page asks two groups to get in touch:
- Veterans who want to share their story as part of the event can contact Melinda Beltran at MBeltran@Clermontfl.org.
- Vendors and sponsors can contact Cory Cody at CCody@ClermontFl.org.
The page also links the city’s promotional video from last year’s event.
Is there a parade?
None is listed for 2026. The city’s Veterans Day page and its November calendar list only the Nov. 11 ceremony. The City of Clermont’s 2026 special events list (PDF) does not include a Veterans Day parade either. If the city adds one, the date, route and road closures will go here and on our road construction and closures page.
A veterans tribute concert, Nov. 8
The Orlando Concert Band, a 75-member volunteer wind ensemble founded in 1989, plays In Honor and Gratitude: A Musical Tribute to Veterans from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Clermont Performing Arts Center. The band plays patriotic, symphonic band and popular music, the city’s listing says. Tickets are sold through the center’s site. More shows are on our arts and exhibitions page.
What is open and closed
- City of Clermont offices: Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, is on the city’s 2026 holiday list.

- Schools: Lake County Schools students have Veterans Day off, under the 2026-27 calendar the School Board approved.
- Federal offices: Veterans Day is a federal holiday, so post offices are closed and there is no regular mail delivery.
Parking at the Arts and Recreation Center
