FDOT's U.S. 27 repaving in Clermont and Minneola brings overnight lane closures, plus S.R. 516 work on U.S. 27 and S.R. 429 and Turnpike shoulder work.
Last checked Oct. 23, 2026. This page is refreshed weekly. Facts come from the Florida Department of Transportation’s Central Florida project site and its statewide work zone data, the Florida’s Turnpike weekly advisory for Oct. 18-23 (PDF) (the advisory for the week of Oct. 25 was not posted when we checked), the Central Florida Expressway Authority’s S.R. 516 page and the City of Clermont’s Transportation Division.
Most major roads in Clermont are not the city’s. State Road 50 and U.S. 27 belong to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike to the Turnpike Enterprise, and Hancock Road, Hartwood Marsh Road and Citrus Tower Boulevard to Lake County. The city owns about 106 of the roughly 405 miles of paved road in and around Clermont, it says.
