Bakeries in Clermont: bagels, cakes, cookies and Caribbean bread

Clermont’s bakeries are chain and franchise shops along the two main roads. Four sit on State Road 50 between U.S. 27 and Hancock Road, and two are on South U.S. 27 near Steves Road. Two are bagel shops that also serve breakfast; the others bake cakes, cookies, bread and Caribbean patties.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap, the data behind our local directory, and added bakeries from the state’s restaurant license records and from the chains’ own store pages. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026, and checked every address against Lake County’s address records to make sure it is inside the city limits. Bakeries with a Clermont mailing address on Sunrise Plaza Drive, on U.S. 192 or in Four Corners are in unincorporated Lake County, so they are not here. A few dessert and cookie shops whose own sites give no street address are left off until they do. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Bagel Bros Cafe at 1640 E. Highway 50, Suite B, is a bagel cafe open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch, its site says, with online ordering. It has a second cafe on Sunrise Plaza Drive, outside the city limits.

Brooklyn Water Bagel on South U.S. 27 near Steves Road bakes bagels and other baked goods and makes bagel sandwiches. Its location page lists bulk bagels by the baker’s dozen and a catering menu.

Crumbl at 2427 S. U.S. Highway 27 is the cookie chain’s Clermont bakery. New and returning flavors arrive every Monday, its page says, and it takes orders for parties and catering. Its page lists no Sunday hours.

Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill at 1020 E. Highway 50 is a franchise of the Caribbean bakery and restaurant chain. Its location page carries the current hours.

Nothing Bundt Cakes at 1670 E. Highway 50, Suite B, has been in Clermont since fall 2022, its page says. It bakes Bundt cakes, Bundtlets and Bundtinis fresh every day and takes orders online for pickup or delivery.

Panera Bread at 2260 E. Highway 50 is the bakery cafe chain’s Clermont store. Its location page carries the current hours.
