Sushi and Asian restaurants in Clermont: U.S. 27 and State Road 50

Most of Clermont’s sushi and Asian restaurants sit on South U.S. 27 south of State Road 50, where four sushi bars and two poke and fusion counters line a two-mile stretch. A second group is on State Road 50 east of U.S. 27, with Chinese restaurants, ramen and dim sum, and four more are off Citrus Tower Boulevard and Oakley Seaver Drive. Downtown, a sushi and noodle counter is inside the Montrose Street Market.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap, the data behind our local directory, and added restaurants from the state’s restaurant license records. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026, and checked every address against Lake County’s address records to make sure it is inside the city limits. Many small places here have no website of its own; we kept those only where the state shows an active license and a 2026 inspection at the address, and we say “no website.” The list is alphabetical. Akina Sushi & Asian Food Bistro is in a plaza on South U.S. 27 near Winsley, south of Steves Road. It holds a state restaurant license at this address.

Bambuu Asian Eatery describes itself as Asian fusion, built on recipes from across Asia with a modern approach. Its site lists dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.

China Star and China Taste are Chinese restaurants, China Star on State Road 50 just east of U.S. 27 and China Taste on South U.S. 27 near Winsley. Both hold state licenses.

Dim Sum House is on State Road 50 between U.S. 27 and Hancock Road. It holds a state license at 2440 E. Highway 50.

Fancy Sushi on South U.S. 27 lists sushi rolls, sashimi, chicken teriyaki, beef negimaki and hibachi combinations. It takes orders online and does not take reservations, its site says.

Hibachi Express is off Citrus Tower Boulevard, in the plaza at 260 Citrus Tower Blvd. It holds a state restaurant license.

Kingdom Sushi at 1391 Citrus Tower Blvd. is part of a Florida chain. Its page says the Clermont restaurant serves all-you-can-eat sushi made to order, desserts included, and takes reservations.

Kizuna Sushi & Hibachi on South U.S. 27 serves Japanese food, sushi and hibachi, with online ordering on its site.

New Chinese Buffet and No. 1 Wok are Chinese restaurants a few doors apart on State Road 50 east of U.S. 27. NY Chinese Restaurant is on Citrus Tower Boulevard. All three hold state licenses.

Oishi Sushi Ramen Hibachi on State Road 50 near Hancock Road and Orochi Ramen on State Road 50 near U.S. 27 both hold state licenses at their addresses.

Panda Express has two Clermont restaurants inside the city limits, on South U.S. 27 and in the Plaza Collina development. Hours are on the chain’s location pages.

Pokemoto on South U.S. 27 is a poke chain, with bowls built to order. Its location page lists online ordering.

Robata Japanese Steakhouse on Oakley Seaver Drive, behind the State Road 50 shops, is a hibachi and sushi restaurant. Its site was not reachable when we checked, so call before you go.

Shin Sushi is on South U.S. 27 near Steves Road. It holds a state restaurant license, and the state last inspected it in September 2026.

Token Ramen on U.S. 27 is a ramen restaurant, and Tuti’s Sushi Noodle is a counter inside the Montrose Street Market downtown. Both hold state licenses.
